Hubert was one of the best people I ever met.
Our years of working together at Coast to Coast were simply great. There was always a smile, a laugh or a shared experience every time I ran into him. There were times when I sought him out just to have a good guy to talk to. He had good ideas and a level head.
After Coast, there were sporting events and other times when I ran into Hubert, and it was like that breath of fresh air coming back into the room.
We shared stories of life, of the relative he was watching at the game I was covering, or just a light moment. I will always be grateful that he thought dealing with me was as positive as I thought of him.
The world is a better place because of Hubert Miller, and while sad today, I know we will always have the memories of a very positive man.
My condolences to the family, along with prayers and best wishes.
