Harold Loyd (Ike) Vice
May 5, 1923 – February 5, 2018

Born to Winfred and Anita Robbins Vice of Ladoga. He married Gail
Olson on February 14, 1947. Soon after their marriage, Ike and Gail
moved to Astoria where Ike worked as Superintendent at the Port of
Astoria for 35 years. Following his retirement, Ike traveled to Indiana
each year to visit family and enjoy his favorite ripe tomatoes and corn.
Ike was an active member and contributor to the Walluski Community
Center. Ike was a member of the American Legion, Moose and Elks.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and many brothers and sisters.

Ike is survived by his children, Jan (Robert) Hubbard, Mary (Scott) Parker
and Jeff Vice. Grandchildren Jill (Mike) Weinstein, Laura Parker, Scotty Parker, Brenda Esser, great grandchildren, Sarah Weinstein and Jameson Landwehr, Gail’s brother Clifford (Pat) Olson and Ike’s sister Ruth.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday July 7 at Ladoga Cemetery, Ladoga, Indiana, with Pastor Bob Vice of the Ladoga Community Church officiating. Donations may be given to the Clatsop County Historical Society.
