Linda Lu (Proctor) Hartman


Linda Lu (Proctor) Hartman, 75, of Bainbridge, IN passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on November 3, 1943 in Greencastle, IN to Ivan and Lucile (Crosby) Proctor.

She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1961. She was a member of Bainbridge Christian Church. She was also member of the Bainbridge Community Service Club and Bainbridge Improvement Society.

Linda worked as a school bus driver for North Putnam School Corporation for 32 years.

She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed sports. North Putnam Athletics, Pacers and Colts were among her favorite teams.

Linda is survived by her children, Bryan Hartman, Fishers, IN, Lisa (Fred) Paula, Raleigh, NC, Jason (Stacey) Hartman, Bainbridge, IN; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Paula, Gatlin, and Gunner Hartman; sister, Madonna Elliott, Bainbridge, IN; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Hartman; sister, Garnet (Walter) Huffman; and brother-in-law, David Elliott

Graveside Service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday April 12, 2019 at Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Pastor Alan Small will be officiating.  Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 East Washington Street, Roachdale, IN 46172. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Putnam County Community Foundation under the following endowments, Bainbridge High School Alumni Association and/or Bainbridge Improvement Society, at 2 South Jackson Street, Greencastle, IN 46135.
